debug ip bgp soft-reconguration
Enable soft-reconguration debug.
Syntax
debug ip bgp {ip-address | peer-group-name} soft-reconfiguration
To disable, use the no debug ip bgp {ip-address | peer-group-name} soft-
reconfiguration command.
Parameters
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the peer group to disable or enable all routers within the
peer group..
Defaults Disabled

Usage Information
This command turns on BGP soft-reconguration inbound debugging. If no neighbor is specied, debug turns on
for all neighbors.
debug ip bgp updates
Allows you to view information about BGP updates.
Syntax
debug ip bgp updates [in | out | prefix-list prefix-list-name]
To disable debugging, use the no debug ip bgp [ip-address | peer-group peer-group-name]
updates [in | out] command.
Parameters
in (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to view only BGP updates received from neighbors.
out (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword out to view only BGP updates sent to neighbors.
prex-list prex-list-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword prefix-list then the name of an established prex
list. If the prex list is not congured, the default is permit (to allow all routes).
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the peer group to disable or enable all routers within the
peer group.
