Field Description

• w = write access

Prefixes Displays the name of the storage location.

Commands

format flash – erases all the existing files and reformats the filesystem in the

internal flash memory.

show file – displays the contents of a text file in the local filesystem.

show os-version

Displays the release and software image version information of the image file specified.

Syntax

show os-version [file-url]

Parameters

file-url (OPTIONAL) Enter the following location keywords and

information:

• For a file on the internal Flash, enter flash:// then the

filename.

• For a file on an FTP server, enter ftp://

user:password@hostip/filepath

• For a file on a TFTP server, enter tftp://hostip/

filepath

• For a file on the external Flash, enter usbflash://

filepath then the filename.
