Storm Control
Storm control is supported on the Dell networking OS.
The storm control feature allows you to control unknown-unicast, muticast, and broadcast control traffic on
Layer 2 and Layer 3 physical interfaces.
Dell Networking OS Behavior: The Dell Networking OS supports broadcast control (the storm-control
broadcast command) for Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic. The minimum number of packets per second (PPS) that
storm control can limit is two.
To view the storm control broadcast configuration show storm-control broadcast | multicast |
unknown-unicast | pfc-llfc [
interface] command.

To view the storm control multicast configuration, use the show storm-control multicast
[interface] command.

To display the storm control unknown-unicast configuration, use the show storm-control unknown-
unicast [interface] command.
