NOTE: When you assign a privilege level between 2 and 15, access to the system begins at EXEC mode,
but the prompt is hostname#, rather than hostname>.
Configuring Logging
The Dell Networking operating system tracks changes in the system using event and error messages.
By default, the system logs these messages on:
the internal buffer
console and terminal lines
any configured syslog servers
To disable logging, use the following commands.
Disable all logging except on the console.
CONFIGURATION mode
no logging on
Disable logging to the logging buffer.
CONFIGURATION mode
no logging buffer
Disable logging to terminal lines.
CONFIGURATION mode
no logging monitor
Disable console logging.
CONFIGURATION mode
no logging console
