mode.
Logging Changes in Peership States
To log changes in peership states, use the following command.
Log peership state changes.

Terminating a Peership
MSDP uses TCP as its transport protocol. In a peering relationship, the peer with the lower IP address initiates
the TCP session, while the peer with the higher IP address listens on port 639.
Terminate the TCP connection with a peer.

ip msdp shutdown
Example of the Verifying that Peering State is Disabled
After the relationship is terminated, the peering state of the terminator is SHUTDOWN, while the peering state
of the peer is INACTIVE.
