Usage Information The following describes the show ip route summary shown in the following example.
Column Heading Description
Route Source Identies how the route is congured in the system.
Active Routes Identies the best route if a route is learned from two protocol sources.
Non-active Routes Identies the back-up routes when a route is learned by two dierent protocols. If the
best route or active route goes down, the non-active route becomes the best route.
