feature unique-name
Set a unique host name for the system.

Usage Information
If you use the feature unique-name command, the system generates a host name using the platform type
and system serial number. It overwrites any existing host name congured on the system using the hostname
command. The feature unique-name command is also added to the running conguration.
If you disable the feature using the no feature unique-name command, the system reverts to the default
host name of
Dell.
If you use the hostname or the no hostname command after enabling the feature unique-name
command, the system displays an error message stating that the feature unique-name is already enabled
and provides an option to disable it.
