Concept Guide

single-interface species one of the
following port types:
10-Gigabit Ethernet: Enter
tengigabitethernet slot/port.
Port channel: Enter port-channel
{1-511}
.
2 source {single-interface | range
{interface-list | interface-range |
mixed-interface-list}} [vlan vlan-id |
vlan range {vlan-list | vlan-range |
mixed-vlan-list}] destination remote-
vlan vlan-id direction {rx | tx | both}
MONITOR SESSION
range interface-list species multiple
source ports separated by a space,
comma and space: single-interface ,
single-interface , ...
range interface-range species one of
the following port ranges:
tengigabitethernet slot/rst_port -
last_port
port-channel rst_number -
last_number A space is required
before and after the dash (
-range
mixed-interface-list species single
ports and port ranges in any order:
single-interface, interface-range,
single-interface vlan vlan-id selects
trac only from a single VLAN on the
source port(s). Range: 1-4094. vlan
range
vlan-list selects trac from
multiple VLANs on the source port(s).
In the VLAN list, separate VLAN IDs
by a comma and space: vlan range
vlan-id, vlan-id, vlan-id
vlan range vlan-range selects trac
from a range of VLANs on the source
port(s). Enter the VLAN range in the
format:
vlan range rst_vlanID - last_vlanID
A space is required before and after
the dash (-). vlan range mixed-vlan-
list selects trac from single VLANs
and VLAN ranges on the source
port(s). Enter the mixed VLAN list in
any order:
vlan range vlan-id,
rst_vlanID - last_vlanID, vlan-id.
destination remote-vlan vlan-id
associates the reserved VLAN with
the source ports used in this source
session. direction species the
incoming/outgoing trac on the
source port/ to be mirrored: ingress
(
rx), egress (tx), or ingress and egress
(both)
To delete one or more source ports from a mirroring session, enter the no source interfaces destination remote-vlan vlan-id direction
direction command, specifying the ports to be deleted, remote VLAN ID, and trac direction in the command syntax.
