Applying a Prex List for Route Redistribution
To pass trac through a congured prex list, use the prex list in a route redistribution command.
Apply the prex list to all trac redistributed into the routing process. The trac is either forwarded or dropped, depending on the criteria
and actions specied in the prex list.
To apply a lter to routes in RIP, use the following commands.
• Enter RIP mode.
CONFIGURATION mode
router rip
• Apply a congured prex list to incoming routes. You can specify an interface.
If you enter the name of a nonexistent prex list, all routes are forwarded.
