Users Guide

The total amount of space allowed is 16 FP Blocks. System ow requires three blocks; these blocks cannot be
reallocated. The ipv4acl prole range is from 1 to 4.
When conguring space for IPv6 ACLs, the total number of Blocks must equal 13.
On the switch, there can be only one odd number of Blocks in the CLI conguration; the other Blocks must be in
factors of two. For example, a CLI conguration of 5+4+2+1+1 Blocks is not supported; a conguration of 6+4+2+1
Blocks is supported.
Ranges for the CAM proles are from 1 to 10, except for the ipv6acl prole which is from 0 to 10. The ipv6acl
allocation must be a factor of two (2, 4, 6, 8, 10).

Version Description
9.9(0.0) Introduced on the FN IOM.
8.3.16.1 Introduced on the MXL 10/40GbE Switch IO Module.
Usage Information When you enable this command, if a Policy Map containing classication rules (ACL and/or dscp/ ip-precedence
rules) is applied to more than one physical interface on the same port pipe, only a single copy of the policy is
written (only one FP entry is used).
NOTE: An ACL itself may still require more that a single FP entry, regardless of the number of interfaces.
