network backdoor
Specify this IGP route as the preferred route.
Syntax
network ip-address mask backdoor
To remove a network, use the no network ip-address mask backdoor command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format of the network.
mask
Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prex length format (for example, /24).
The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information Although the system does not generate a route due to the backdoor cong, there is an option for injecting/
sourcing a local route in the presence of network backdoor cong on a learned route.
redistribute
Redistribute routes into BGP.
Syntax
redistribute {connected | static} [route-map map-name]
To disable redistribution, use the no redistribution {connected | static} command.
Parameters
connected Enter the keyword connected to redistribute routes from physically connected
interfaces.
static
Enter the keyword static to redistribute manually congured routes.
These routes are treated as incomplete routes.
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map then the name of an established route map.
Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are supported:
