network backdoor
Specify this IGP route as the preferred route.
Syntax
network ip-address mask backdoor
To remove a network, use the no network ip-address mask backdoor command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format of the network.
mask
Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prex length format (for example, /24).
The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information Although the system does not generate a route due to the backdoor cong, there is an option for injecting/
sourcing a local route in the presence of network backdoor cong on a learned route.
redistribute
Redistribute routes into BGP.
Syntax
redistribute {connected | static} [route-map map-name]
To disable redistribution, use the no redistribution {connected | static} command.
Parameters
connected Enter the keyword connected to redistribute routes from physically connected
interfaces.
static
Enter the keyword static to redistribute manually congured routes.
These routes are treated as incomplete routes.
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map then the name of an established route map.
Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are supported:
• match ip address
• set metric
• set tag
