Parameters
notication-type Enter the type of notication from the following list:
• ecfm — Notication of changes to ECFM.
• entity — Notication of changes to entity.
• envmon — For Dell Networking device notications when an environmental
threshold is exceeded.
• eoam — Notication of changes to the EOAM state.
• ets — Notication of changes to the ets traps.
• fips — Notication of changes to the FIP snooping state.
• lacp — Notication of changes.
• pfc — Notication of changes to pfc traps.
• snmp — Notication of RFC 1157 traps.
• stp — Notication of a state change in the spanning tree protocol (RFC 1493).
• vrrp — Notication of a state change in a VRRP group.
• xstp — Notication of a state change in MSTP (802.1s), RSTP (802.1w), and PVST
+.
notication-option For the envmon notication-type, enter one of the following optional parameters:
• temperature
For the snmp notication-type, enter one of the following optional parameters:
• authentication
• coldstart
• linkdown
• linkup
• syslog-reachable
• syslog-unreachable

Usage Information
The system supports up to 16 SNMP trap receivers.
If you do not congure this command, no traps controlled by this command are sent. If you do not specify a
notification-type and notification-option, all traps are enabled.
