Commands to Congure the System to be a DHCP
Client
To congure the system to be a DHCP client, use the following commands.
ip address dhcp
Acquire an IP address dynamically on an interface from the DHCP server.
Syntax
ip address dhcp [relay | vendor-class-identifier]
To disable DHCP Client on an interface, use the no ip address dhcp command.

Usage Information
In the I/O Aggregator, the DHCP client is enabled only on the default VLAN and management interface 0/0. Use
the ip address command to assign a static IP address that overwrites the dynamically assigned IP address.
