FIPS Cryptography
To congure federal information processing standards (FIPS) cryptography, use the following commands on the switch.

ps mode enable
Enable the FIPS cryptography mode on the platform.
Syntax
fips mode enable
To disable the FIPS cryptography mode, use the no fips mode enable command.
Default Disabled

Example
Dell (conf)#fips mode enable

Related Commands ssh — opens an SSH connection specifying the hostname, username, port number, and version of the SSH client.
show ps status
Displays the status of the FIPS mode.
