Version Description
9.9(0.0) Introduced on the FN IOM.
9.6(0.0) Supported on the FN 2210S Aggregator.
9.3(0.0) Introduced on the M I/O Aggregator and MXL 10/40GbE Switch with the FC Flex IO
module.
Usage Information
The FC-MAP value you enter must match the FC-MAP value used by an FC switch or FCoE forwarder (FCF) in
the fabric. An FCF switch accepts only FCoE trac that uses the correct FC-MAP value.
The FC-MAP value is used to generate the fabric-provided MAC address (FP-MAC). The FPMA is used by servers
to transmit FCoE trac to the fabric. An FC-MAP can be associated with only one FCoE VLAN and vice versa.
In an FCoE map, the FC-MAP value, fabric ID, and FCoE VLAN parameters must be unique.
To remove a congured FC-MAP value from an FCoE map, enter the no fc-map command.
