Fluid Cache For DAS Error Messages And Resolution Steps
If Fluid Cache for DAS displays an error message described in this section, follow the steps suggested to resolve the
issue.
Message ID: 2703| JOURNAL_INSUFFICIENT_MIRRORS_EVENT
The message indicates that enough journal mirrors are not available to operate. To resolve the issue, you must ensure
that there are at least two journal mirrors that are accessible. You must activate either one or more failed cache devices
or use the fldc_restore utility to rebuild the node.
Message ID: 2704| JOURNAL_CLUSTER_ID_MISMATCH
The message indicates that the cluster ID in the journal does not match the cluster ID in the configuration file. To resolve
the issue, contact Dell Technical Support.
Message ID: 2705| JOURNAL_ACCESS_ERROR
The message indicates that the journal cannot be read or written. To resolve the issue, contact Dell Technical Support.
Message ID: 2900| CACHEDEV_FAILURE_EVENT
The message indicates that the cache device has failed. To resolve the issue, replace the PCIe SSD.
Message ID: 2901| STORAGE_DEAD_EVENT
The message indicates that the storage device is either inaccessible or has failed. If the device is inaccessible, restore
connectivity. If the device has failed, replace it.
