Customizing the EqualLogic Storage Management

Pack

You can customize the Dell EqualLogic Management Pack by using overrides.

Specifying Override Parameters

To specify override parameters for management pack objects:

Launch the SCOM console, click the

Authoring

tab, and select

Management Pack Objects

Select the management pack object you want to override —

Monitors

Object Discoveries

, or

Rules

Right-click the management pack object you selected,

and from the pop-

up menu select

Overrides



Override the

<management pack object>.

You can choose to override this monitor for objects of a specific type or for

all objects within a group.

The

Override Properties

window is displayed.

Select the object, and change the override value(s).

Click

Apply

NOTE: You can also change the Severity setting for the Rules option.
