Steps for Connecting Network Cables
1. Obtain the correct number of network cables. For each controller, you need nine network cables, for a total
of 18 cables.
2. Connect the cables for the SAN/internal network connections.
3. Connect the cables for the client network connections. See Connecting the Client Network Cables on page
21.
Figure 9 shows the recommended EqualLogic FS7600 network configuration. Table 8 describes the components
shown in the figure.

If you use VLANs within your switch stack, the SAN and internal networks must be in the same VLAN.
