4 Switch configuration
You will now configure the switch or switches using the parameters and values chosen and recorded in the
Appendix A and Appendix B worksheets. Power-on the switch and connect the laptop's serial cable to the
S4148-ON console port. No passwords or login accounts required for console access in factory default
configuration. Table 1 provides overall values used to validate the environment and for example values.
