1 What’s new This release of Dell Storage PowerTools Cluster Services Manager coincides with EVO:RAIL v1.2.1 Performance. Payload): 1.0.24 Internationalization Graphical User Interface (GUI): English 3 Compatibility This release of Dell Storage PowerTools – Cluster Services Manager is for use only on a Dell- deployed EVO:RAIL v1.2.
7 Resolved issues Added support for Intel X540 PCIe 10 GbE Base- T NICs. 8 Known issues and limitations a. There is no option to cancel an inventory or update within PowerTools CSM. Update cycles can last for as much as 30 minutes per ESXi host or more, if there are any external issues causing additional delays. Workaround: Wait until the cycle completes. However, if this is not possible, it may be necessary to restart CSM. The easiest way to do this is to restart the CSM VM. b.
A new version 17.0.12 firmware for the Intel 10 GbE NIC family is being released near the same time as EVO:RAIL v1.2.1 Performance. CSM is configured to expect the current certified firmware version 16.5.20 to be in place, so this line item is listed with a red warning in CSM if v17.0.12 is detected on any NICs in the cluster. As has been discussed in item “c” above, CSM for EVO:RAIL is not able to update or downgrade NIC firmware.
