NOTE: The expansion card slots are not hot-swappable.

NOTE: Double width GPUs are supported only on riser conguration 4, and single width GPUs are supported only on riser

conguration 6.

NOTE: Ensure that x16 cards are installed only in x16 slots. Depending on the riser conguration slots 2, 7, or 8 may not be

available.

NOTE: When you replace the Internal storage adapter, you must update the system with the latest available BIOS and iDRAC

Opening and closing the PCIe card holder latch

Before installing or removing a full length PCIe card, the PCIe card holder latch must be closed. When the full length PCIe card is installed,

open the PCIe card holder latch.

2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
