CAUTION: Take care not to damage the system identication button while placing the system board into the chassis.
2 Holding the system board holder and release pin, insert the system board into the system.
3 Holding the system board holder, push the system board toward the back of the system until the release pin clicks into place.

Next steps
1 Install the Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
NOTE
: The TPM plug-in module is attached to the system board and cannot be removed. A replacement TPM plug-in
module is provided for all system board replacements, where a TPM plug-in module was installed.
2 Replace the following:
a IDSDM module card
b All expansion card risers
c Processors and heat sink modules
d Processors and memory blanks (if applicable)
e Memory modules and memory module blanks
f Network daughter card
g Cooling fan assembly
h Air shroud
i Power supply unit(s)
3 Reconnect all cables to the system board.
NOTE
: Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable securing
bracket.
4 Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
5 Import your new or existing iDRAC Enterprise license. For more information, see Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller User's
Guide, at Dell.com/esmmanuals.
6 Ensure that you:
a Restore the Service Tag.
b If the Service Tag is not backed up in the backup ash device, enter the Service Tag manually.
c Update the BIOS and iDRAC versions.
d Re-enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
