NOTE: Double width GPUs are supported only on riser configuration 4, and single width GPUs are supported only on riser
configuration 6.
NOTE: Ensure that x16 cards are installed only in x16 slots. Depending on the riser configuration slots 2, 7, or 8 may not be
available.

Opening and closing the PCIe card holder latch
Before installing or removing a full length PCIe card, the PCIe card holder latch must be closed. When the full length PCIe card
is installed, open the PCIe card holder latch.
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions on page 56.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system on page 57.
Steps
1. To open the PCIe card holder latch, press the release tab.

2. To close the PCIe card holder latch, push the latch until it locks.
