DSU Commands for Linux and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Command Syntax for Microsoft Windows
dsu /remote-<Domain\credentials@hostname> or--
remote=<Domain\credentials@hostname>
NOTE: When domain is used, only single-label DNS names
are supported that do not contain a sux such
as .com, .corp, .net, .org or company name. For example,
"host" is a single-label DNS name.
To push updates to the remote system
Description To push the required updates to the remote system.
Command Syntax for Linux
dsu --push-remote-updates
Command Syntax for Microsoft Windows
dsu /push-remote-updates or --push-remote-
updates
DSU installer le location
Description To install or update the DSU on remote systems which is required
for remote updating.
NOTE: If this option is not provided, then the DSU
installer le present in the catalog will be used.
NOTE: The DSU version should be same version as the
local system.

--dsu-lin64-installer-location
Command Syntax for Microsoft Windows
--dsu-win64-installer-location
To restart the system automatically
Description To restart the system for updates to take eect.

dsu --reboot
Command Syntax for Microsoft Windows
dsu /reboot
To ignore the optional dependency
Description To ignore the optional dependency while performing updates of the
system.

dsu --ignore-optional-dependencies
Command Syntax for Microsoft Windows
--ignore-optional-dependencies
Providing the updates for remote system using iDRAC
Description
To provide the remote system type. The value supported is iDRAC.
This option performs the iDRAC Update (Out-of band) without any
operating system.

dsu --rsystemtype=<value>

dsu --rsystemtype=<value>
