Command for Linux:
dsu --input-inventory-file=<FILE>
Command for Windows:
dsu --input-inventory-file=<FILE>
Output inventory information
Output the system inventory information in to a file.
Command for Linux:
dsu --output-inventory-xml=<Inventory File>
Command for Windows:
dsu --output-inventory-xml=<Inventory file>
Preview updates
Displays a preview of the updated system inventory post updates.
Command for Linux:
dsu --preview or -p
Command for Windows:
dsu --preview or /p
Configuration file
Configuration of the file path for DSU.
All the configuration and options are specified using this option. Once this option is specified, the remaining options are ignored.
NOTE:
For the given config file, it performs schema check only if the schema file (config.xsd) is available
at %programdata%\Dell\DellEMCSystemUpdate\dell_dup. To Download schema file, see http://downloads.dell.com/

Destination type
If the applicable updates are packaged for a specific destination, below command is used. To know more about creating of
bootable ISO, click on ISO below.
