As an optional step, you can choose proxy conguration. You must provide the Proxy Server Address, Proxy Port, and the
appropriate credentials.
4 Click Apply.
Conguring notications
This section describes the process to congure the notication.
1 Click on the Dell EMC Repository Manager drop-down menu.
2 On the Manage section, click Application Preferences.
The Preferences window is displayed.
3 In the Notication section, select the relevant option if you want a notication for catalog update or jobs.
4 In the Email Conguration section, click Congure.
5 From the Email Type drop-down menu, select the method through which you want to send the mail. The available options are SMTP
and Microsoft Exchange.
If you select the SMTP option, you must provide the following details:
Email ID
Username
Password
Domain
NOTE
: You also have the option to authenticate anonymously.
You should also provide the SMTP details such as:
SMTP Server
Port Number
NOTE
: You also have the option to bypass proxy or use SSL/TLS to establish communication.
If you select the Microsoft Exchange option, you must provide the following details:
Email ID
Username
Password
MS Exchange URL
6 Click Save to save the conguration.
7 Click Apply.
NOTE
: A notication is sent to the email that has been congured. You can also add additional emails to notify multiple users. To
add multiple users, separate the receipients using a semicolon (;).
NOTE: To manually create an exchange URL, hold the control (ctrl) key and right-click on the Microsoft Outlook tray icon. Click
Test E-mail AutoConguration and provide an email address and click Test. The exchange URL is displayed in the Availability
Service URL eld.

1 Click on the Dell EMC Repository Manager drop-down menu.
2 On the Manage section, click Application Preferences.
