7 Conclusion
The testing described in this document shows the scalability and performance of the ME4024 array.
This document is developed by storage solution providers and reviewed by the Microsoft Exchange Product
team. The test results and data presented in this document are based on the tests introduced in the ESRP
v4.0 test framework. Customers should not quote the data directly for pre-deployment verification. It is still
necessary to go through the prescribed exercises to validate the storage design for a specific customer
environment.
The ESRP program is not designed to be a benchmarking program; the tests are not designed for getting the
maximum throughput for a given solution. Rather, it is focused on producing recommendations from vendors
for the Exchange application. The data presented in this document should not be used for direct comparisons
among the solutions.
