About OpenManage Mobile (OMM)
By using the OpenManage Mobile (OMM) application, you can:
• Monitor and manage devices in data centers by using an iOS mobile phone.
• Manages devices that are already monitored and managed by OpenManage Enterprise, OpenManage Essentials, and iDRAC7 and later
versions.
• Add one or more OpenManage Essentials consoles, Integrated Dell Remote Access Controllers (iDRACs) 7 or later, OpenManage
Enterprise consoles, or MX7000 chassis.
• Send alerts from the OpenManage Consoles to your mobile phone and enable troubleshoot hardware issues.

What is new in this release
OpenManage Mobile version 4.0 is supported on iOS versions 12 and later.
User Experience
• Search for servers available on an OpenManage Enterprise console that is added in OMM. You can also search for other devices
available in OMM. For more information, see View the OMM home page on page 10.
• The group chassis dashboard displays the health status and recent alerts of the compute sleds, storage sleds, and networking devices
in the group.
• Information about the components in the front end of an MX7000 chassis is now displayed in a new window that opens next to the
main window of the AR mode. For more information, see View the front-end of MX7000 chassis in AR mode on page 37.
Manage OpenManage Enterprise
• Import servers available in OMM to OpenManage Enterprise console. For more information, see Discover servers in OpenManage
Enterprise console by using OMM on page 14.
• View reports of devices managed by OpenManage Enterprise console. For more information, see View reports of devices managed by
OpenManage Enterprise.
Monitor storage devices
• Monitor the internal storage devices on PowerEdge servers. For more information, see Monitor storage devices on PowerEdge servers
on page 29.
Monitor MX7000 chassis
• Configure chassis groups by using Quick Sync 2.
• AR feature is supported on iPads.
