9 Installing Dell EMC OpenManage Essentials
3.2 Instal OpenManage Essentials
1. Download the OME package from www.delltechcenter.com/ome, and extract the files to the local
drive.
The Autorun.exe window is automatically opened or you can manually open the Autorun.exe.

2. Select the Dell EMC OpenManage Essentials check box and click Install. The Dell EMC
OpenManage Essentials Prerequisites screen is displayed.
Note:
• If you select the OME, Dell EMC Troubleshooting Tool will be installed along with it.
• If you directly open the Setup.exe in the \Windows\< folder _name>, the Dell EMC troubleshooting
tool will not be installed along with the OME.
