10 Uninstall OpenManage Essentials

To uninstall OME:

1. Navigate to Control Panel  Programs and Features and select Dell EMC OpenManage

Essentials.

2. Click Uninstall.

Uninstalling OME

Note:

• Because Dell EMC SupportAssist Enterprise functionality is based on OME, you must uninstall Dell

EMC SupportAssist Enterprise, and then uninstall OME.

• Uninstalling OME does not remove the Troubleshooting Tool, which must be uninstalled separately.

The database with the same or later version will be retained after uninstalling OME.

• OME uninstallation lets you retain the database. You can use the database again with the same

version or after upgrading to the later version of OME.
