41 The Dell EMC Devices Supported by Dell EMC OpenManage Essentials (OME)
8 Alerts (SNMP Traps) in OpenManage Essentials
The SNMP alerts received from discovered Dell EMC devices are displayed under the Alerts tab of
the
respective
device. OpenManage Essentials currently supports SNMP V1, V2, and V3 alerts. The status of the
device is polled every time an SNMP trap is received from that device. For example, if a trap with critical
severity is received from a device, status of that device is set to Critical.
