Implementación de OpenManage Enterprise - Tech
Release en un host de Hyper-V
1. Abra el Administrador Hyper-V en Windows Server 2008 R2 y versiones posteriores. El host Windows 2012 debe aparecer en el
Administrador de Hyper-V.
2. Seleccione el host y seleccione Acción > Importar máquina virtual.
3. Seleccione la carpeta que contiene el servidor virtual OpenManage Enterprise - Tech Release, que incluye instantáneas, unidades
virtuales, VM y archivos de importación. Haga clic en Siguiente.
4. En la página Seleccionar máquina virtual, seleccione la máquina virtual que desee importar (solo hay una opción disponible) y, a
continuación, haga clic en Siguiente.
5. En la página Elegir tipo de importación, seleccione Copiar la máquina virtual y, a continuación, haga clic en Siguiente.
6. En la página Elegir destino, conserve los valores predeterminados o seleccione la ubicación de la VM, la instantánea y la paginación
inteligente.
7. Haga clic en Siguiente.
8. En la página Elegir carpetas de almacenamiento, conserve los valores predeterminados o haga clic en Examinar y seleccione la
ubicación de las unidades virtuales y, a continuación, haga clic en Siguiente.
9. En la página Resumen, revise las opciones que seleccionó en páginas anteriores y, a continuación, haga clic en Finalizar para
implementar el servidor virtual OpenManage Enterprise - Tech Release en el host de Hyper-V.
10. Una vez que haya implementado el servidor virtual OpenManage Enterprise - Tech Release, selecciónelo y, a continuación, haga clic en
Iniciar en Acciones.
NOTA:
El archivo del servidor de OpenManage Enterprise - Tech Release también se puede implementar mediante el
uso de un entorno KVM compatible.
Deploying the Hyper-V appliance on Microsoft
Server 2012
1. Extract the openmanage_enterprise_vhd_format.zip file, and then move or copy the enclosed VHD file into the appropriate
location on your system where you want to store the OpenManage Enterprise (OME) virtual drive.
2. Start Hyper-V Manager.
3. 3. Click Action > New > Virtual Machine.
4. On the Specify Name and Location page, select the VM name and a storage location appropriately for your environment.
5. Navigate to the Specify Generation page and select Generation 1. OpenManage Enterprise-Tech Release does not support
Generation 2.
NOTE:
Ensure that 8192 MB is assigned as the memory. Dynamic memory can be turned on, but for best
performance, it is recommended to leave the option 'disabled'.
6. On the Networking Configuration page, ensure that the network adapter is connected to the network. If set to 'Not Connected',
OME-Tech Release will not function properly during the first reboot, and requires redeployment if this situation recurs.
7. On the Connect Virtual Hard Disk page, select Use an existing virtual disk drive, and then go to the VHD file you copied in step 1
earlier.
8. Complete the on-screen instructions.
9. Open the settings of the newly created VM.
