Resolution:
Provide realistic warning and critical values so that there are no immediate alert generating temperature changes.
Issue 5
Description:
When you try to remove a device that is part of multiple groups using the REST API, then an error message is displayed.
Resolution:
To remove a device that is part of multiple groups, remove the device from the group in OpenManage Enterprise. The changes
are automatically reflected in Power Manager.
Issue 6
Description:
Multiple entries on group membership changes in Audit Logs.
Resolution:
When there are updates to the static group membership through OpenManage Enterprise, there are multiple entries of this
update in the Audit Logs and Alert Log.
Issue 7
Description:
There are two alerts that are received on the destination console when power and temperature threshold violation alerts are
forwarded from a device and a group where the device is part of that group.
Issue 8
Description:
Scenario: When you change the power and temperature units in Power Manager through REST APIs and check for the unit
change updates in UI, the updates are not reflected on the UI.
Resolution:
To view the updates on the UI after changing the power and temperature units through REST APIs, refresh the browser.
Issue 9
Description:
When you rediscover a device or an inventory job is in progress in OpenManage Enterprise, the following error message is
displayed: Value entered for id is invalid
Resolution:
Add the devices in Power Manager after the discovery or inventory job is completed.
Issue 10
Description:
The Energy Consumption value under Power History section that is displayed in Metrics and Monitoring History tab for a
device is not accurate when you select the duration as 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, or 1 Year.
Resolution:
As a workaround to view the right Energy Consumption value for a device, use the REST APIs or run the built-in Power
Manager: Power and Thermal Report of Devices report.
Issue 11
Description:
When a device is added to or removed from a static group, audit logs indicating that properties of group is updated, is generated
for all static groups being monitored by Power Manager even though membership change is made only on one group.
Issue 12
Description:
When a device is added to or removed from a static group having an active power policy, the alert log indicating that group
membership properties are updated, is generated intermittently. Whenever the alert log is generated, it will be generated for all
the static groups having an active policy on them even though membership change is made only on one group.
