What's new?

The key features in OpenManage Ansible Modules version 2.0.1 include:

• idrac_firmware and idrac_server_config_profile modules are added.

• dellemc_idrac_firmware and dellemc_idrac_server_config_profile modules are deprecated.

Fixes

Issue 1(134624)

Description: All iDRAC modules fail to run with Ansible v2.8.0 and OpenManage Ansible Modules v2.0.

Known Issues

Issue 1(86360)

Description: Creating iDRAC users using dellemc_configure_idrac_users module does not update the provided user properties

for the created user on 14G servers.

Resolution: In case the user is not created with all the required user settings, change the user setting with action option modify in the

dellemc_configure_idrac_users module.

Issue 2(93817)

Description: dellemc_delete_lc_job_queue may fail to clear all the jobs from iDRAC in case there are multiple jobs with same

name and with different status present on iDRAC for server with iDRAC firmware version 2.50.50.50 and below.

Issue 3(126402)

Description: Creating template using dellemc_ome_template module may fail on OMEnt 3.1 in case no template is created on this OMEnt

within the 24 hours (approximately) after the initial OMEnt installation and setup.

Resolution: A script is provided to fix the issue in OMEnt 3.1 through PSQN which will create a folder in CIFS share. See https://

Limitations

• GracefulShutdown choice of change_power option for dellemc_change_power_state module is supported only on iDRAC

firmware versions 3.00.00.00 and above.

• ipmiserialprivilege_users option of dellemc_configure_idrac_users module is not supported for Modular servers.
