Installing Firmware
Command: dellemc_install_rmware
Synopsis
You can install the rmware from a repository on a network share (CIFS, NFS) to keep the system updated.
For 12
th
and 13
th
generation of PowerEdge servers, rmware update from a network repository is performed using WS-Man APIs.
For 14
th
generation of PowerEdge servers, rmware update from a network repository is performed using the SCP.
To install the rmware:
Make sure the network share contains a valid repository of Dell Update Packages (DUPs) and a catalog le that consists the latest
DUPs.
All applicable updates contained in the repository are applied to the system.
