ip vrf
Create a non-default VRF instance.
Syntax
ip vrf vrf-name
Parameters
vrf-name—Enter the name of the non-default VRF that you want to create. Enter a VRF name that is not
greater than 32 characters in length.

Command Mode CONFIGURATION
Usage Information Enter the ip vrf vrf-name command only in non-transaction-based configuration mode. Do not use
transaction-based mode. You can create up to a maximum of 128 non-default VRF instances. The no ip vrf
vrf-name command removes the non-default VRF instance that you specify.

Configures an FTP client for the management or non-default VRF instance.
Syntax
ip ftp vrf {management | vrf vrf-name}
Parameters
management — Enter the keyword to configure an FTP client on the management VRF instance.
vrf vrf-name — Enter the keyword then the name of the VRF to configure an FTP client on that non-
default VRF instance.

Usage Information The no version of this command removes the management VRF instance configuration from the FTP client.

Configures a hostname for the management VRF instance or a non-default VRF instance and maps the hostname to an IPv4 or IPv6
address.
Syntax
ip host vrf {management | vrf-name} hostname {IP-address | Ipv6–address}
Parameters
management—Enter the keyword management to configure a hostname for the management VRF
instance.
vrf-name—Enter the name of the non-default VRF instance to configure a hostname for that VRF instance.
hostname—Enter the hostname.
IP-address | Ipv6–address—Enter the host IPv4 or IPv6 address.
