Connect to Dell Online

Field Description
Enter Connection Credentials
Dell Online Click the link to open the Dell Online Account web page. A new OTP is generated after
providing the Dell Online Account credentials.
Credentials
OTP (One Time Password) Enter the OTP generated by connecting to Dell Online Account.
Options
Save Connection Credentials Click the check box to enable the License Manager to reconnect to Dell Online Account by
saving the connection credentials.
NOTE: A new OTP has to be requested by connecting to Dell Online Account when the
credentials expire.
Automatically connect on
start up
Click the check box to enable the License Manager to automatically connect to the Dell
Online Account when it is launched.
Enable Proxy Settings Click the check box to enable proxy settings if the network requires proxy settings for the
connection.
Proxy IP Enter the proxy IP address.
User Name Enter the username of the proxy user.
Password Enter the password of the proxy user.
Port Enter the port number to access the proxy server.
Connecting Results Displays the connection status to Dell Online.
Loading Complete Displays the summary of unbound licenses fetched from the Dell Online Account
Entitlement ID Displays the unique license identifier.
License Type Displays the type of license matched to a licensable system.
Description Displays the description of the purchased licenses.
Is Bound Specifies whether the entitlements are bound to the licensable systems.

Checkbox Click to select license type.
License Description The description of the license.
License Count The count of unbound licenses.
Selected Click to select system to bind the licenses.
System Name The name of the system to which the license will be bound.
Service Tag The service tag of the system.
