Prerequisites

1. Follow step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the back cover”.

2. Remove the PCI/PCIe card (if installed).

3. Remove the WLAN-antenna connectors.

4. Remove the WLAN card.

5. Remove the WWAN-antenna connectors.

6. Remove the CANbus card or WWAN card.

7. Remove the SIM card.

8. Remove the intrusion switch.

9. Remove the bottom cover.

10. Remove the memory module.

11. Remove the heat sink.

12. Remove the riser card.

13. Remove the power connectors.

14. Follow step 1 to step 4 in Removing the top cover.

15. Remove the CPU board.

Procedure

1. Remove the screws that secure the left chassis to the front chassis.
