Removing the power connectors

Prerequisites

1. Follow step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the back cover”.

2. Remove the PCI/PCIe card (if installed).

3. Remove the heat sink.

Procedure

1. Remove the nut and washer that secure the barrel connector to the chassis.

2. Push the barrel connector through the slot chassis.

3. Remove the screw that secures the grounding cable to the system board.

4. Disconnect the power cable from the system board.

5. Remove the power cable from the routing guide on the system board
