Prerequisites

1. Follow step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the back cover”.

2. Remove the PCI/PCIe card (if installed).

3. Remove the WWAN-antenna connectors.

4. Remove the WLAN-antenna connectors.

5. Remove the serial ports.

Procedure

1. Remove the screws that secure the top cover to the chassis.

2. Remove the top cover off the chassis.
