Replacing the intrusion switch

Procedure

1. Replace the screw that secures the intrusion switch to the chassis.

2. Route the intrusion-switch cable through the routing guides on the chassis and under the heat sink pipe.

3. Connect the intrusion-switch cable to the intrusion-switch connector on the system board.

Post-requisites

1. Replace the PCI/PCIe card (if necessary).

2. Follow step 2 to step 8 in “Replacing the back cover”.
