NOTE: The computer must be disconnected from the electrical outlet to

clear the password setting.

1 Remove the back cover.

2 Locate the password reset jumper (PWD) on the system board. See

“

System-board components”.

3 Remove the jumper plug.

4 Wait for approximately five seconds to clear the password setting.

5 Turn on the Embedded Box PC.

A message appears on your computer, indicating that the passwords are

cleared.

6 Turn off the Embedded Box PC.

7 Replace the jumper plug.

8 Replace the back cover.
