Removing the top cover

Prerequisites

1 Remove the back cover.

2 Remove the hard drive or solid-state drive.

Procedure

1 Remove the intrusion-switch cable from intrusion-switch connector on

the IET board.

2 Remove the screws that secure the top cover to the chassis.

NOTE: Ensure that the screw located near the SIM-card slot is

removed.
