Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2 Complete the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
CAUTION: To prevent data loss, ensure that your operating system supports hot swappable drive installation. See the
documentation supplied with your operating system.
Steps
1 Press the release button to unlock the HDD assembly.
2 Pull the release latch of the HDD assembly to the fully open position.
3 Pull the HDD assembly out.
