How can I set the
server display to 256
colors on Windows
2003?
To set the server display to 256 colors:
Right-click desktop.
Select
Properties
.
Click the
Settings
tab.
Click the
Advanced
button.
Click the
Adapter
tab.
Click the
List All Modes...
button.
Select, for example:1024x768, 256 Colors, 60 Hertz.
Reason for setting the server display to 256 colors:
The FPGA does color matching the best it can. However,
sometimes when a color is borderline, it displays differently
than what you would expect. If you can't see the color
correctly, change the color depth to 256 colors on the
managed system.

pull-down menu.
