了解 RDA with OST 插件 (Windows)
必须将 RDA with OST 插件安装在运行受支持 Microsoft Windows 服务器操作系统软件的、基于 Windows 的指定
媒体服务器上，安装目录为：$INSTALL_PATH\VERITAS\Netbackup\bin\ost-plug-in（对于 NetBackup 安装）和
$INSTALL_PATH\Symantec\Backup Exec\bin\（对于 Backup Exec 安装）。在下载后，可使用 SETUP（安装）来安
装 RDA with OST 插件。
注: 必须在客户端系统上安装 RDA with OST 插件，才能支持客户端的重复数据消除。
为 Windows 上的 Backup Exec 安装 RDA with OST 插件
本主题说明如何在 Microsoft Windows 环境中安装 RDA with OST 插件，以便通过此插件执行 DR Series 系统操
作。
在安装此插件之前，确保您满足以下所有先决条件：
1. 所安装的 Backup Exec 必须在受支持的 Windows 媒体服务器平台之一上运行。有关受支持的 Backup Exec
版本和操作系统的信息，请参阅 dell.com/support/manuals 上的 Dell DR Series System Interoperability Guide
（Dell DR Series 系统互操作性指南）。
2. 必须已下载 Windows RDA with OST 安装程序。否则，请从 dell.com/support/drivers 将 Windows 安装程序
(DellOSTPlugin-xxxxx.msi) 下载至可访问的网络目录位置。
要安装 RDA with OST 插件，请完成以下操作：
1. 启动 Backup Exec Administrator（Backup Exec 管理员）控制台，依次选择 Tools（工具）和 Backup Exec
Services...（Backup Exec 服务...）。
此时将显示 Backup Exec Services Manager（Backup Exec 服务管理器）页面。
2. 选择要在其上安装 RDA with OST 插件的服务器，然后选择 Stop all services（停止所有服务）。
此时将显示 Restarting Backup Exec Services（重新启动 Backup Exec 服务）页面，其中列出了所选服务器
的当前状态。
3. 单击 OK（确定）。
4. 启动 Dell Storage Plug-In for Symantec OST Setup Wizard（适用于 Symantec OST 的 Dell 存储插件设置向导）
（并接受所有默认值）。
5. 在 Welcome（欢迎）页面中，单击 Next（下一步）继续。
此时将显示 End-User License Agreement（最终用户许可协议）页面。
6. 单击 I accept the terms in the License Agreement（我接受许可协议中的条款），然后单击 Next（下一步）。
7. 在 Destination Folder（目标文件夹）页面中，接受默认的目标位置，然后单击 Next（下一步）。
8. 在 Ready to Install Dell Storage Plug-In for Symantec OST（适用于 Symantec OST 的 Dell 存储插件安装就绪）
页面中，单击 Install（安装）。
安装插件后，将显示 Completed the Dell Storage Plug-In for Symantec OST Setup Wizard（适用于 Symantec
OST 的 Dell 存储插件设置向导已完成）页面。
9. 单击 Finish（完成）退出向导。
