– Size: this defines a set limit in Gibibytes (GiB) for incoming raw data allowed per container.
8. Click Create a New Container (or click Cancel to display the Containers page).
After creating the new container, the Containers page is displayed and includes a Successfully Added dialog. The
list of containers in the Containers summary table is updated with your new container (and its new status is
reflected as N/A in the Replication column of this table).
未割り当て接続タイプコンテナの作成
DR Series システムで接続タイプが未定義（None（なし））の未割り当てコンテナを作成するには、次の手順
を実行します。
メモ: DR Series システムでは、具体的な接続タイプを設定せずにコンテナを作成することができます。
後で未割り当てコンテナに設定を行えるようになったら、コンテナ概要表でそのコンテナを選択し、Edit
（編集）をクリックし、目的の接続タイプを設定できます。
1. Storage → Containers（ストレージ > コンテナ）を選択します。
Containers（コンテナ）ページに既存のコンテナがすべて表示されます。
2. 作成 をクリックします
Create New Container（新規コンテナの作成）ダイアログが表示されます。
3. Container Name（コンテナ名）に、コンテナの名前を入力します。
コンテナ名は、32 文字以下にする必要があり、次の文字を組み合わせて定義することができます。
メモ: DR Series システムでは、コンテナ名に /、#、または @ の特殊文字を使用することはできませ
ん。
– A～Z（大文字の英字）
– a～z（小文字の英字）
– 0～9（数字）
– ダッシュ（-）またはアンダースコア（_）特殊文字
4. Marker Type（マーカータイプ）で、None（なし）、Auto（自動）、CommVault、Networker、TSM、また
は ARCserv を選択します。
Auto（自動）マーカータイプを選択すると、すべてのマーカータイプを検出できるようになります。ベ
ストプラクティスとして、コンテナにトラフィックを転送する DMA が 1 種類しか存在しない場合は、そ
れに対応するマーカータイプ（CommVault など）を選択することが推奨されます。一方、サポートされ
ていないマーカータイプの DMA からトラフィックが転送される場合は、None（なし）マーカータイプ
を選択することにより、コンテナのマーカー検出を無効にすることが推奨されます。
5. 未割り当て接続タイプでコンテナを作成するには、None（なし）を選択し、後で設定するためのコンテ
ナを作成したり、コンテナのマーカータイプの指定を無効にしたりします。
6. Create a New Container（新規コンテナの作成）をクリックします（または Cancel（キャンセル）をクリッ
クして Container Summary（コンテナ概要）ページを表示します）。
新しいコンテナを作成した後、Containers（コンテナ）ページが表示され、Successfully Added（正常に追
加されました）ダイアログが表示されます。コンテナ概要表のコンテナリストが更新され、新しい未割
り当てコンテナが反映されます。
Editing Container Settings
To modify any of the settings for an existing container, complete the following:
1. Select Storage→ Containers.
The Containers page is displayed, and lists all current containers.
2. Click Select to identify the container in the list that you want to modify, and click Edit.
