1656 Syslog Commands

User Guidelines
All the syslog messages are logged to the internal buffer. This command limits
the commands displayed to the user.
Example
The following example limits syslog messages collected in the internal buffer
to those of severity level "error" and above (numerically lower).
console(config)#logging buffered error
logging console
Use the logging console command in Global Configuration mode to limit
messages logged to the console based on severity. To disable logging to the
console terminal, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
logging console [
severitylevel
]
no logging console
severity–level
—(Optional) The number or name of the desired severity
level. Range:
[0 | emergencies]
[1 | alerts]
[2 | critical]
[3 | errors]
[4 | warnings]
[5 | notifications]
[6 | informational]
[7 | debugging]
