Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
This command is not supported on USB drives.
filedescr
Use the filedescr command in Privileged EXEC mode to add a description to
a file. Use the no version of this command to remove the description from the
filename.
Syntax
filedescr {image 1 | image2}
description
no filedescr {image 1 | image2}

— Image file.
•
description
— Block of descriptive text. (Range: 0-128 characters)
Default Configuration
No description is attached to the file.

Privileged EXEC mode
User Guidelines
The description accepts any printable characters except a double quote or
question mark. Enclose the string in double quotes to include spaces within
the description. The surrounding quotes are not used as part of the
description. The CLI does not filter illegal combinations of characters on
entry and may accept entries up to the first illegal character or reject the entry
entirely.
