If your enterprise enables encryption for protected Office documents and PDFs, you can select these
additional policies.

For internal users, an Unprotected Documents folder is added to the root of each
computer's Documents folder. When users place an Office document in that
folder, Data Guardian automatically decrypts it.

Open
Users can select Open for an unprotected document in these locations. The document opens in Edit mode.
• Excluded folder if you enable that policy.
• Unprotected Documents folder at the root of each computer's Documents folder if you enable that policy.
Save
User clicks Save: the file is protected.
